India’s largest mega textile park lays its foundation at Warangal

The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, is scheduled to lay foundation stone for Mega Textile Park at Chintalapalli of Sangem mandal in Warangal rural district on August 16.

The Textile park spread over 1200 acres is expected to provide employment to over one lakh people, especially aimed to comprehensive ecosystem with a concept of farm to fashion and also provide infrastructure which will be utilized by various tech institutions.

The textile park would attract investments of over ₹ 11,000 crore and it would have ginning, spinning, weaving, dyeing and other units all at one place. The park is also aimed to bring back those weavers and textile workers who migrated to distant places like Sholapur, Gujarat, Bhiwandi and others.
